Velogix Names former Altera Executive Erik Cleage Chairman of the Board: "Velogix Inc. announced today that Erik Cleage, 45, has been appointed chairman of the company's board of directors. Cleage brings with him 24 years of semiconductor experience, 19 of them at Altera Corporation, a leading programmable logic supplier and industry pioneer. He held various management positions at Altera between 1986 and 2005 including 15 years as an executive officer. Most recently he held the position of senior vice president of marketing.

Cleage comes with a demonstrated track record of success, helping to grow Altera from a $3-million pre-IPO startup to a multi-national, billion-dollar high-technology powerhouse, shaping much of today's programmable logic marketplace in the process. He is currently a private investor in emerging technology companies and serves as an independent board member and advisor to company management teams.
