Weiss Tech House: PennVention Startup Winners



Thanks to Jenny Brennan, from Weiss Tech House for pointing this our way. Kudos to the Pennvention program.

I saw that you recently blogged about MuscleMorph. They won first place in our PennVention competition last year before winning the Wharton Business Plan Competition and then FORTUNE Small Business Magazine's Battle of the Business Plans.

Since 2005, the PennVention competition at UPENN's Weiss Tech House has helped launch more than 10 businesses including Humanistic Robotics www.humanisticrobotics.com and Intellistem www.intellistem.com.

The Weiss Tech House provides funding, mentoring, and other service to help entrepreneurs create and commercialize innovative technologies.

On April 6, ten finalists will unveil their prototypes and compete for $60K worth of cash and prizes in this year's PennVention competition.
