DigitalGlobe IPO in 18 months

"DigitalGlobe, which provides imagery for Google Inc.'s interactive mapping program Google Earth, said on Tuesday it was still on track for an initial public offering in about 18 months.
The company announced on Monday it was opening a corporate office in Boston to be closer to commercial customers, a move it said was important ahead of the IPO.
"The IPO is still on our radar for the medium term," Chuck Herring, the company's director of corporate communications, told Reuters in a telephone interview.
The final timing of the IPO would depend on "a combination of DigitalGlobe being ready, as well as market conditions being right," he said. "
