Interactive connection finally coming together

"San Mateo's Sling Media generated a lot of buzz at the Consumer Electronics Show with its SlingCatcher, a device coming out later this year that will cost less than $200 and let people beam content from computers to television screens. Palo Alto tech giant Hewlett-Packard, known mainly for its computers and printers, made a move into the digital entertainment industry, introducing a line of flat-screen televisions and a media server to help families access the music and videos stored on computers throughout their home.
