Samsung said today that it has started its mass production of 4Gb NAND flash memory on a 70mm fab. The memory is developed in a quad-die package developed by stacking 4 one gigabit NAND chips on one another. Samsung expects the chips to be used in devices such as new 3G mobile phones, new PDAs, mobile gaming systems and digital cameras.
