Beon Media is the developer of the GalleryPlayer, a digital home gallery service that transforms any flat panel TV into a digital canvas for museum-quality art and photography.
Company competes head on with EyeTide, DreamCity and to an extent Webshots. According to venturewire, company is raising between $5- $15m.
Bad news: Beon Media's GalleryPlayer technology will no longer be part of the Tuesday launch of Windows XP Media Center, one of Microsoft's most anticipated product debuts this year.
