Broadband wireless chip group ups funding

LONDON -- Broadband wireless chip specialist Provigent, Inc. has increased its third round funding to $10 million and the total amount raised thus far to $21 million.

The additional funds were provided by all of the Los Altos, California based company's previous backers, including Sequoia Capital, Pitango Venture Capital, Magnum Communications Fund, Ascend Technology Ventures, Delta Ventures, and Andrew Viterbi, Co-Founder of Qualcomm.
