interesting chart although this chart compares only 50 days versus 100 days for the other presidents. i hope to god in the next 50 days we will be higher
Yeah really! Compare 50 days for each or nothing at all. I'm sure it still won't look good, but in essence, it's a very weak stat to analyze. The last 50 days would be a better place to analyze data.
So at 100 days we'll be down 32% !
Um, dumbasses who said "compare 50 versus 100" - just extend the 50 day line upward and you can see exactly where the other presidents were. DUH. MORONS. The markets are still the worst under Obama.
given recent volatility it would be nice if you could normalize this and perhaps market weight to volume and tying this to components similar to what was held each year for each prez.

Well, inheriting the economy after Bush Jr is pretty much the worst job in the world. If anybody can turn this around, it is Obama. But it will take more than 100 days to turn 8 years of outrageous mismanagement around!
