Intel (INTC) fell $1.93, or 10.1%, to $17.27. That’s a new 2 year low.
Yahoo (YHOO) fell $2.04, or 10.8%, to $16.88. That’s a new 5 year low.
Dell (DELL) fell $1.59, or 9.4%, to $15.41. That’s a new 10 year low.
Sun (JAVA) fell 89 cents, or 11.7%, to $6.75. That’s a new 13 year low.
Advanced Micro (AMD) fell 87 cents, or 16.9%, to $4.29. That’s a new 17 year low.
Qimonda (QI) fell 48 cents, or 32.4%, to $1. That’s a new all-time low, but it still could go lower; there are growing concerns that the memory chip maker is headed for insolvency. Qimonda is majority owned by Infineon (IFX) - which as it happens fell $1.98, or 27.4%, to $5.24 - another all time low. "
