Google adds photos to Maps

"Google has added photos to Google Maps local search, to make destinations easier to spot. Once businesses get their photos up on the site, you'll be able to view a map along with images of a storefront or road. This can be immensely helpful if you're trying to spot a store or restaurant on a busy street. "Google Maps also includes pictures of buildings storefronts signs, and logos", writes Jess Lee, Product Manager for Yahoo Maps, on the Google Blog. At the moment, photos will understandably not be found that often, as it will take a while for businesses to cotton on to this new marketing tool. "
