"MaxPreps Inc. of Cameron Park says it raised $7 million in a recently-completed second round of financing.
Investors include BEV Capital, DFJ Frontier, and lead investor Dolphin Equity Partners.
Salvatore Tirabassi of Dolphin Equity Partners and Mike Majors of BEV Capital will join MaxPreps' board of directors.
The money will be used to increase marketing and distribution, add new senior management and expand business development efforts, the company says."
