Tech-Confidential: Legal troubles for Skype
"San Francisco-based StreamCast Networks, the developer of Morpheus file-sharing software, is suing Luxembourg-based Skype SA, claiming that the popular Internet phone company is using peer-to-peer technology that StreamCast claims it owns, according to published reports. If such allegations are valid, Skype could face a big threat down the road, since its peer-to-peer technology is a key differentiator for the company as it squares off against various Internet telephony rivals."
