ApaceWave to begin volume shipments of WiMAX chips in 2007 | TG Daily
"ApaceWave Technology, a Silicon Valley-based broadband wireless solution provider, is expected to start production of WiMAX chips by the end of this year, with volume shipments slated to begin in 2007, according to company sources. The development of the company�s WiMAX chips is expected to gain momentum, now that the company has received all of its first round of venture-capital funds, totaling US$12 million, from investors who include Venrock Associates and Doll Capital of the US, as well as WK Associates and the Fortune Consulting Group of Taiwan, the sources indicated."
