IBM (NYSE: IBM) has acquired iPhrase Systems

IBM has acquired iPhrase Systems Inc., a Mass.-based provider of software designed to improve ecommerce sales, online service and support. IPhrase has raised around $52 million in VC funding since its 1999 inception, from firms like Charles River Ventures, Greylock, Mayfield, Reed Elsevier Ventures, Sequoia Capital and FT Ventures.
