Ellison predicts a big future / He sees Oracle doubling in size within a few years

"Oracle Corp. CEO Larry Ellison believes his company can double in size in the next few years, from $14.5 billion in revenue this year to nearly $30 billion in the near future. "

-- Whether Oracle might acquire San Jose business software maker BEA Systems: "At one time, BEA was very high on our list. Now they're less so. We passed BEA up in terms of more license sales. We have more than twice as many users. ... And they don't want to be bought. They have a poison pill. ... I'm not interested in getting into a big fight over BEA."
