Starbucks in Japan - It's working!

"Starbucks Coffee Japan Ltd. said Thursday its profit increased in the fiscal year ended in March, with help from new shops and solid sales of drinks. The Japanese company, a joint venture of Seattle-based Starbucks Coffee Co. and Japanese consumer products distributor Sazaby Inc., said its net profit was 1.17 billion yen, or about $11 million, which was up from 189 million yen."
