Cisco Systems Wraps Up Vihana Acquisition
Network equipment maker Cisco Systems Inc. on Monday said it finalized its acquisition of Vihana Inc., a privately held chipmaker for the computer and communications industry.
Cisco agreed to pay about $30 million in cash and options for Sunnyvale, Calif.-based Vihana, which has 27 employees. In its last quarterly report, Cisco said it had invested $15 million in Vihana as of Jan. 29.
