Cisco Seen As Prime Beneficiary In VoIP - Forbes.com

"Banc of America reiterated a 'buy' rating for Cisco Systems (nasdaq: CSCO - news - people ) with a $24 price target after a conference call with senior management discussing voice-over-IP. The research firm's positive view of Cisco remains solid: 'We continue to believe VoIP is in the early phases of large scale adoption and that Cisco will be a prime beneficiary.' Banc of America sees cost and the ability to offer new services as demand drivers for VoIP: 'VoIP significantly reduces move/add/change costs and creates the ability to offer new productivity enhancing services such as presence awareness and find-me/follow-me capabilities."
