Chase introduces no-swipe plastic

"J.P. Morgan Chase, the nation's largest credit card issuer, introduced Visa and MasterCard plastic that doesn't have to be swiped across a magnetic-strip reader. Instead, the new cards just need to pass within a few inches of a scanner that's wired to receive low-frequency radio waves emitted by an embedded chip. "
