"IAC/InterActiveCorp agreed to buy search site Ask Jeeves Inc. in a stock deal initially worth $1.85 billion, a move that promises to roil the Internet's most competitive market.
IAC will issue 1.2668 shares of common stock for each Ask Jeeves share. IAC said it will buy back at least 60% of the number of shares it will issue for the acquisition, as part of a previously authorized share-repurchase program."
