Engineer held in theft at Fremont chip firm

"A former chip-design engineer remained jailed Tuesday on federal charges of illegally taking proprietary files from a Fremont semiconductor company and passing them to a potential competitor in Taiwan where he had hoped to work."

Yikes. IP theft has been happening more frequently esp. when work is outsourced.
