alarm:clock: China's Tixa Raises $24M In Run Up To IPO

"China’s Tixa Internet Technology completed a second round, raising US$24M, reports a.com.cn. Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Company, JAIC and MIH were the investors.Tixa is a Beijing-based online advertising firm that competes with Google Adsense. The company’s CEO says it is planning to list on NASDAQ in 2007.
Tixa currently runs three Internet-based services including NarrowAD.com, Prnews.cn, ChinaWi.com, as well as 95001000, a virtual telephone switchboard service for Chinese companies.
