The move is the second major financial move from Sprint Nextel with IPWireless, a San Bruno, Calif.-based company specializing in mobile broadband and multimedia technology. Sprint's initial investment, totaling $4 million, came in July.
'With Sprint leading our latest round of investment,' says Jon Hambidge, IPWireless' vice president of marketing, 'we see this as a huge endorsement for what we've been doing. It's a nice boost for us.'"
