EETimes.com - DSP tool startup closes $7 million in round-two funding

"DSP design tool startup Catalytic Inc. said Tuesday (Dec. 6) it has raised $7 million in a second round of venture capital funding, bringing the total VC investment in the company to $13.6 million since being founded in 2001.
Catalytic (Palo Alto, Calif.) said the funds would be used as working capital for research and development and to expand distribution channels.
CMEA Ventures, based here, was the lead investor in the funding round, according to Catalytic. Other participants included New Enterprise Associates of Menlo Park, Calif., and ITU Ventures of Los Angeles, the company said."
