RED HERRING | Ruckus Outside the Home

"In-home wireless networking device startup Ruckus Wireless introduced a customer premise device on Monday that will find and manage the strongest possible metropolitan Wi-Fi connection to the home to prevent signal degradation and instability.

The company, which launched its in-home wireless routing system in September, will market its MetroFlex 2201 initially through Tropos Networks, a Sunnyvale, California-based provider of wireless mesh technology. Tropos? products have been used in a number of metropolitan Wi-Fi networks, including those built in Philadelphia and Anaheim, California."
